How Does It Work?

GAME CLIENT

Our game client can directly control a local robot, as well as connect online to pilot virtual and remote robots. You get to use the same mouse and keyboard skills you already have..

SERVERS

3V3? 1V2? Our game servers will host virtual games, stream video feeds and remote controls for remote games, and help you coordinate local games.

ROBOTICS HARDWARE

Our robots talk directly to our receiver hardware that plugs into a PC. From there, information is routed direct to the screen for local control or through our server to a remote player online.

We are building the first combined real/virtual MMO vehicle-combat shooter. All battles take place in-game, whether with virtual robots or with real robots in real arenas. Through competing in the simulator, players will learn to control the robots effectively, and after reaching an attainable minimum ranking, unlock the ability to pilot a real robot in a real arena in high stakes matches. If you purchase your own personal robot, you will control it with your laptop using your game client and have the ability to host local games and log stats!

Great question. We love that game so much we wished it was real! But there were some other things we all agreed could be better too. In terms of gameplay, Hunter Legion will be a modern competitive MMO focused on individual player performance. You will know where you stand with ranked and unranked battles, more competitive 3v3 team sizes, advanced stat tracking features, ranking based matchmaking and, of course, there's no hacking real life.
